Today we have two FOs to share!
The first is the Ceniza Shawlette, which Jarilyn recently finished. She used two shades of Classic Elite Mountaintop Canyon. This is a great summer yarn as it’s a blend of cotton and undyed alpaca, which adds softness to the cotton blend. It is lightweight and perfect for keeping the chill off your shoulders in an over airconditioned office or a breezy evening on the beach.
The second is the Condurat cowl, a brioche knit cowl that Mari recently finished. She combined two different yarns: Sweet Georgia Worsted, a merino yarn that has great stitch definition and bounce, and Frog Tree PediBoo Worsted, a bamboo and wool blend that has great twist and sheen. Brioche is a great technique, which creates a double sided fabric that is the inverse on the opposite side. So you’ll see in the photos below that the green is the dominant color on one side, but if you turn it inside out then the blue becomes the dominant color.
